With a low percentage of women in power positions, the question is why?
Until recently, the prevailing attitude was that gender equity would take care of itself β that once more and more women entered law firms and became partners, gender percentages would even out. But the statistics tell a different story.
Surely there are numerous other factors playing into this trend β but if we put those issues aside for now, what is it thatβs fundamentally keeping women from rising in in-house legal teams?
